Verified reviewThe app is not easy to use. I could not find the test that she was meant to do at thr beggining so she just started doing random activities. To me it seems with prolonged used she'll learn to read but the app makes us sleepy after a couple of minutes no idea why. The activities are really good she loves the piano eventhough I have no clue what that teaches. The app is a bit slow and sometimes stops working. To summarise it is a good resource but it needs improvement.

Verified reviewThe navigation system on the site is tricky at first but as soon as you master it, you're able to dive in with ease. Kairo is Loving it. ENGLISH is her second language but her vocabulary has improved as well as her reading. She has mastered the words Cat, Bat, Sam and few others. We print and practice with the worksheets provided. This enables her to read and write at the sametime. Maths is our next subject to tackle. I'm looking forward to it. Thank you Reading Eggs, the lives of our children have been impacted positively and we look forward to more learning for them.

Verified reviewIn terms of teaching reading, it's very good. But honestly my kids aren't on the iPad/screens often enough to gain a lot of benefit from it. It's meant to be an everyday thing but we aren't in the habit of playing on screens every day, and would rather not make it a habit, and in that respect, it's not worth the money to play it once, maybe twice a week, at most. Perhaps if it was a one off purchase, it wouldn't be so bad. I'd pay up to $40 or $50 for a one off purchase of the app. But I don't think an ongoing subscription is worth it.

Verified reviewMy son was the youngest in kindergarten and was struggling. Reading Eggs helped him catch up so much so that his teacher said his report card didn’t reflect where he was at. Teacher said, “I don’t know what has happened but John has progressed so much over the past two weeks since I did his report”. I then told her it was due to Reading Eggs. She was amazed. Verified reviewMy son is in year four and was barely reading at a year one level he has undiagnosed autism and ADHD, which makes it even harder for him but I do a lesson a day on reading eggs with him and over the last three months even his teachers have noticed the dramatic improvement in how he is reading. I am so grateful for this program as it is given my son a renewed hope that he can do this.

Verified reviewReading Eggs has certainly encouraged my reluctant reader to keep up with her peers. My ADHDer was just getting lost in the large classroom instruction and needed something enjoyable that she could focus on at home. She was hating doing the little readers that came home from school as she found them tricky and there wasn’t much enjoyment in them. She’s a creative soul who wanted to tell an intricate story with the images, not sound out CVC words. By the end of Term 1 she was behind so we started Reading Eggs in the Easter holidays and she caught up quickly. She’s continued doing it since and is making great progress. We try to do it a few times a week at home and get an extra burst in the school holidays.

Verified reviewI have 2 kids using reading eggs, but only one enjoys it. My 7 year old loves reading eggs. Her reading has gotten better she's faster reading and her spelling has improved. Now I've got to be mindful when I'm texting friends if she's around, cause she can read them real quick🤦🏾 but i highly recommend reading eggs it's a great product and the price is awesome.

As a mom, I’ve tried everything to help my daughter learn how to read—books on phonics, flashcards, online resources, and different teaching methods. Nothing seemed to click. She just didn’t seem interested or able to grasp the concept, and I was beginning to feel discouraged. Then, when she was 3.5 years old, I discovered this app (ABC Reading Eggs)—and everything changed. We started using it daily, just one chapter a day, and to my absolute amazement, within just one month, she was reading! Not only is she learning, but she’s also having fun. She actually looks forward to reading time now, which is something I never imagined would happen so soon. The lessons are simple, engaging, and incredibly effective. It feels like magic—watching her confidently sound out words and read sentences brings tears to my eyes. I can’t recommend this app enough to other parents. If you’re feeling stuck like I was, give this a try. It made all the difference for us!

My almost 7 year old has struggled with grasping reading, dyslexia playing a big role in this in addition to being unfocused during language lessons. It’s only been a few weeks since we downloaded reading eggs and I have already seen a huge growth in his skills, also in his confidence.

Verified reviewMy 3 and 5yo love reading eggs and my 5yo has definitely learned to begin reading from this! I like how there are also some activities that you can do which give a little 'break' from the learning like decorating your house and the nursery rhymes - my daughter needed these as a bit of an intermission as the lessons got more challenging. One thing I don't like is that the sound when you 'win' eggs sounds exactly like the sound when you win pokies. It just feels like subliminal messaging from the gambling industry I would love to see that sound changed.
